Professional Information:

I am about to graduate Piedmont University in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Film Studies. I am interested in video editing, social media, and marketing.

While at Piedmont, I have been involved in The Roar Student Newspaper, Student Government Association, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, The Yonahian Yearbook, and went through Safe Zone Training.

I have also worked various on-campus, student jobs varying from front desk assistance to social media manager. Since September 2023, I have been working in the university's Marketing Department doing various jobs such as social media content planning, analytics, and website management.

Personal Information:

I am 22 years old! I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type II and use an electric wheelchair full-time. I struggled to accept my disability for so long. However, in 2020, while I was forced to slow down and be alone, I went through a tough time mentally. To help, I began working on accepting myself and being more confident. Apart of that was learning to love myself with a disability. I began to follow other disabled individuals on social media and, eventually, started posting myself. I LOVE who I am and I have never been happier!
